Please have Python 2.5.x installed and ready to go. Python 2.6 and 2.7 are not officially supported yet, but you may try and file any bugs you find. Mac and Linux users likely already have Python installed. PC users are typically the only ones that need to get it, and if you do, go here: http://python.org/download/releases/2.5.4
Also install the App Engine software. Get it at http://code.google.com/appengine/downloads.html
