KBUS: A simple messaging system
Additional Information
KBUS lives at http://code.google.com/p/kbus/
Slides for the talk are available there, as Keynote, PDF or PDF with notes
A paper is also available, as reStructuredText, HTML or PDF (although the pagination on this last is not all I would prefer, if I'd had more time to work on it). Some versions of Acrobat Reader appear to bold all text on the pages with images - other PDF viewers do not seem to do this.
All of the documentation for KBUS (including the slides and paper) is Creative Commons 3.0 BY-SA licensed.
For those interested, the talk was prepared from "source" in europython2010.txt. This was processed with minicog.py (a very primitive relative of Ned Batchelder's cog, which is an excellent thing) using rst_terminal.py to run the examples, producing an intermediate reStructuredText file. This was then used to produce the HTML file (with rst2html) and an amended version of it (saved as europython2010.rst) was used to produce the PDF (with rst2pdf).
