Look Again at the ZCA

Talk Abstract Talk Schedule

Additional Information

I plan to arrange this talk around a short (~75 lines of python, plus comments) script which uses the ZCA to customise rendering of some mock content objects. Although not "real life", it should aid in understanding how you might bring the tools in the ZCA to bear upon a problem.

The talk will go through the concepts of interfaces, utilities and adapters, as they are used in the ZCA, using the demonstration script to tie the explanation together.

At the end of the talk, I hope to have described enough that attendees can understand where the ZCA fits into the world of tools and frameworks available in the Python world, and enough of a grounding in the concepts that they can move onto using the ZCA to solve their problems with less of a learning curve.
