Activity before the Conference
In progress:
Assemble power reels and adapters, projectors (5) etc ready to transport to the Conservatoire at 0800 on Saturday 17th July.
Alex and Q to take kit home overnight and unload with Richard at the Conservatoire on Saturday morning
Set-up for Tutorials on Saturday 17th July
We are using the New Lecture Theatre, Lecture Rooms 1,2 and 3 and the Band Room

Before start at 0915:
Projectors, power reels to all locations
Check that wifi is working OK in all locations, presenters have internet access.
In slower time:
Provide extra power as required in tutorial rooms and public areas.
Put up wifi posters
Set up laptop and printer in crew room
Pull kit from Band Room at 12:30
Set-up for Tutorials on Sunday 18th July
We are using the New Lecture Theatre, Lecture Rooms 1 and 2 and the Band Room.
The Board Room will be used from 11:00 for the Python Language Summit.
Around 17:30: Pull kit from all locations other than New Lecture
Monday 19th July 2010
08:00 set up in Adrian Boult Hall, Recital Hall, New Lecture Theatre and Library Theatre
?? run cable or set up MBM621 in the Library Theatre
19:30 Set up MBM621 at BMI for PSF meeting.
Tuesday 20th July 2010 and Wednesday 21st July
Improve and maintain availability of power strips and the wifi network.
(Had to set up 2 x DHCP servers and configure additional ADSL line to increase leases available and capacity - thanks Nick!)
Retrieve and store projectors overnight, distribute the following morning.
Thursday 22nd July
Around lunch-time pull power strips etc from rooms other than the Adrian Boult.
At end of day pull all kit and store and/or transport to Clockwork Systems.
Friday 23rd July and Saturday 24th July
Transport kit from Clockwork to BMI.
Includes 100m box of UTP, ends and crimping tool, tester. Duct tape.
Power reels and strips including European.
At least 6 access points. MBM621.
8-port switch.
Printer and paper.
Set up and test cabling and wi-fi for sprints as required.
At end of event pull all kit and transport back to Clockwork
Retrieve any items left at the Conservatoire
