wiki:Code of Conduct WG

EuroPython Code of Conduct Workgroup (Code of Conduct WG)

WG Scope

Manage and organize the code of conduct (CoC) workflows, create CoC documents, provide CoC contacts and handle CoC requests.

TBD: Please also see the Code of Conduct WG section in the Workgroup Concept and Workgroup Guidelines document for additional details.

/!\ Note that due to the special nature of this workgroup, it is essential that emails sent to the WG mailing list are treated with extra care, esp. when quoting or forwarding them.

WG Policy

  • The WG should be composed of only a few members, since trust the main factor in having a well working CoC team and coordination has to be fast in some cases.
  • The WG should make sure that we have at least two women and men from the WG present at the conference to handle CoC cases.
  • All CoC cases should be handled and discussed by at least two members of the WG. This often makes it easier to find a good solution for a particular case.
  • All members need to be promptly informed of all CoC cases, ideally in person, or via one of the CoC WG communication channels.
